  • Under the No Surprises Act, all clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) that outlines the expected costs for therapy services. The purpose of the GFE is to provide transparency and help you make informed decisions about your care.

The GFE includes information such as:

    • The type of therapy service(s) you will receive.

    • The anticipated frequency and duration of sessions.

    • The estimated total cost of services based on your individual treatment plan.

You will receive your Good Faith Estimate at the start of services, typically after our initial consultation. If your treatment plan changes over time, you are entitled to request an updated GFE that reflects any new or adjusted services.

While the Good Faith Estimate provides an approximate cost, the final cost may vary depending on factors like changes in your treatment plan or the addition of new services. You will be informed of any updates in advance whenever possible.

For additional details about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • Finding the right therapist is less about picking the closest office and more about finding someone who truly gets you. Start by looking for a licensed therapist who specializes in the challenges you’re facing—whether that’s parenting stress, anxiety, or relationship struggles. Read their website or profile to get a feel for their tone, values, and approach. Trust your gut—this is someone you’ll want to feel safe with. It’s okay to schedule a consultation just to see how it feels. If you're in Texas, I offer both virtual and in-person sessions, and I’m always happy to chat and help you figure out if we’re the right fit.
