Scheduling Policies
Pre-appointment details
Once you schedule a session, you're officially on the calendar—and that time is set aside just for you. Sessions are by appointment only, and it’s important to complete a few things ahead of time to hold your spot.
You'll receive intake paperwork through our secure client portal. All required forms must be completed and a credit card must be placed on file at least 24 hours before your appointment. If these steps aren’t completed, your session time may be released and offered to another client.
If we’re meeting virtually, be sure to find a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable. A parked car, a cozy corner, or anywhere with good Wi-Fi and fewer interruptions will do just fine.
Just come as you are—no need to be “on.” This is your space to breathe.
Cancellation policies
Life throws curveballs—I understand. If something comes up, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees and allow others a chance to be seen.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or don’t show up for your appointment, the full session fee will be charged to the card on file.
Emergencies happen, and I’m always willing to talk through those. But in general, last-minute conflicts like other appointments, sports events, or family plans won’t be exempt.
Payment policies
All payments are due at the time of service. You can pay using a credit or debit card through the secure online system, and a card will be kept on file for convenience.
If you’re using out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement. Just know that you’re responsible for any charges not covered by your insurance provider.
For some, setting up a recurring weekly or biweekly session time works best—and I can absolutely do that. Just know that holding a regular slot is a commitment. If you’d ever like to give up your recurring time, just let me know.
Still have questions? I’m happy to walk you through any of this in your consultation.
